Well, hey, if you're offering who am I to complain? ;) I'm not picky and neither is he, although my housemates spoil him.
Oh! Have you ever met a pokemon? They're sort of like normal animals but not? If you're familiar with a hyena it's sort of like one mixed with a husky. He's sweet and tame, though.
I don't mind!!! I'll make some and meet you someplace. You're inviting me out, so it makes sense for me to bring snacks!! Is juice ok to drink? or do you want tea or coffee?
Nope! Never met a pokemon before, but I think I've heard them mentioned through the amulets before. I've never seen a hyena in person either, but if you say he's friendly I believe it! You've never said anything for me to disbelieve you. Is it going to be with you too?
I'll take anything. I've got some water, too, if you want any. We're not too far from the house so we can always track on back and grab whatever. The guys are probably napping so you won't have to worry about them.
[ She's being too kind. "Napping" is actually code for being lazy and oozing all over the house, potentially not in their rooms. Thankfully they're not so far gone that they seem to realize wearing clothing is preferable.
Come to think of it... her housemates really are gross, aren't they. ]
Ha, me either! I mean Archie, one of my housemates, was my first experience with them and I can't really tell what makes the different from just animals from their world. I think at least you can appreciate some of the naming conventions. He has one that looks like a shark called "Sharpedo". He's actually really sweet and stays in the small lake we made in the yard for him.
He might be with us. My dog, Beretta, is best friends with him and they've got matching bandanas. He's a traitor, but I can't blame him, heh.
[she'll bring a couple of canned, iced coffees then. just in case. Sandwich making shouldn't take too long luckily especially since she's not making anything overly complicated. She'll have to figure out something for the dogs though, hm.]
Haha, I'd like to see him sometime!! They sound pretty cute. Most of the animals we have at home are the normal kind, cats, dogs.... you know. Oh! But because of quirks the funny thing is that sometimes people look like animals, sorta.
[she inserts a visual image of the chief of police who... well.]
[ Jill feeds the scraps sometimes so it's fine. Anything is appreciated and if she can't figure something out, it's easy to pick from the garden or the berry tree (even if she still needs Archie or even Mightyena himself to point out what he wants). ]
Same where I'm from. So it was interesting to meet them!
But... that's new. Does he always look like that? Is his quirk just looking like a dog's head? Or
[ That's how it transmits. Not even punctuation. No ellipsis, no question mark. It's unusual for Jill. ]
As long as the dogs don't try to make a sucker out of you. They know how to do those gooey eyes that make you give them another treat. Guzma has this giant bug pokemon that can sucker me out of anything, too. Don't let them take advantage of you. One they've got an in, they won't give you an inch.
Yeah, haha! It's pretty normal. One of my classmates is similar, it's not really that weird or anything to me. But I guess it might be to someone who isn't used to it.
[The next part of the conversation is more interesting, and it gets a laugh out of her. They're "Texting" through the amulets but when she responds the color of her words are tinted with a bright sunny yellow.]
Hahaha that doesn't sound so bad!! But uh... bug? wow.... I'm pretty sure that'd probably make one of my teachers faint, he's really not fond of them. But umm hey! I'm almost done with the sandwiches, where did you want to meet again?
I guess I get it. It woudn't bother me to be around them or anything, but it's definitely something rare fr me.
[ It's equally interesting to Jill! Her love for her dog and the pokemon seem to translate into text somehow, a soft and warm feeling that rises like comfortable and steamy air. They clearly make her happy. ]
I can't say I was particularly fond of bugs before meeting him. He's very tall, too, but he's the most gentle and sweet thing I've ever known.
Anyway one sec. Let me send you a mental map.
[ Jill does just that! Not just a map from the city to the edges of it where she lives, but visuals of the exterior of her home. It is cute and rathercharming, with a large porch and garden. Some parts are a bit shabby which makes it all the more clear that it was (and still is) a fixer-upper that's a work in progress. ]
